man this thread is hard to find

I'll be there on Sunday afternoon the 8th, leaving the following Saturday a.m. headed east. Riding up with two others, first time for them and hoping the weather is good.

 

​​​​​​I'm hoping good weather too. The weather was perfect in 2013, one day we got rained on in the Black Hills somewhere. Luckily there was a good spot to pull off the road. It was cold rain but only lasted about 30 minutes. It was T-shirt weather the rest of the time, even at night!
Maybe enough of us here will be there to justify a meetup and ride together one day.

We're not tied to this but I made the other guys a schedule in order to have everything jotted down that they wanted to see. Since it's a first time for them I tried to add things I know they want to see, things they've never heard of and some padded time to just hang out in Deadwood, Sturgis and at Wall. If weather impacts any of it we can move it around so that there's plenty of time to hit the highlights. Things that interest me though don't interest others but time at Black Hills HD for example is time well spent, Wall Drug, not so much.

We're staying on the east side of town so anything you want to link up for, holler at me

The first time I went, I couldn't stop smiling. We had such a good time that even after 7 days, I still didn't want to leave!

Gonna do some riding...hit some water holes....check out some real estate.....maybe a copter tour....and some other ****.....most of all...just relaxin' my ***** for 2 weeks....

 

Looks like you have a good plan laid out. Your buddies are gonna thank you for that. I used Google maps to retrace some of the rides we did on my first Sturgis Rally. I wanna see the New Full Throttle Saloon, we had a good time at the old one. Yeah, we can meetup somewhere. Let's see how this plays out.
