I really like the Harley chrome wheels. The chrome is perfect. Amazing deal for the price. I had gotten a set of the original Rocker wheels chromed by a supposedly reputable chromer and ended up sending them back (and paying restocking) because they just weren't perfect (lots of small pits and other imperfections).
I saw you message about the motor mount after I ordered mine from Vulcan. Maybe I'll call them in the am if they haven't sent it yet. What did you have to do to make yours fit?
I'm leaning toward wiring my ignition to the kill switch right now. We'll see how that works out.
Very sweet bike. You commented about my motor mounts and I see what you did on yours. Very nice. Can you give me some details (maybe part numbers, or what's involved). Thanks. I also like the cylinder base cover. Probably need to get one of those for mine.
hey bro, you got any more pics of the rear fender as you were working on it, before the paint. I really like the chop you did. I got an extra fender and was thinking of trying to do that. Did you cut it yourself? Thanks

It still pops on decel, I kinda like it though. It was great until about a month ago. I'm not sure it's a fault of the ecm yet as i made the mistake of having a dealer install it and they kept my diagnostic cable and then "lost" it. I should be getting a new one tomorrow. I keep getting lean codes and it backfires occasionally through the intake. Possibly a short somewhere causing it, but i'll find out soon. A BIG problem with Thundermax is the speedo dropping out and the dash lights all coming on at random. Cycling the ignition clears it every time and a lot of bikes with this setup have that issue. With your gauges being all aftermarket, you might not have that problem.
Appreciate the info. Hoping to make it that way within the next couple of years, I have a lot of family there. Your bike looks great, a lot more streamlined than stock! I'm trying to post recent pics of mine, it's quite a bit different now, but my laptop won't seem to let me change the pic size so i can upload them here.
