    John,
Just joined the forum several days ago and find it a great resource. But I was wondering how to send private messages to a member and how to get pictures to show. I get a message saying I don't have the necessary privileges. I know you are busy today with the shutdown but could you let me know what I need to do to correct these issues. Thanks in advance. Hi John,
I saw your post for Chappy.....just wanted you to know I feel the same way and I've never even met him but I can tell he is a sweetheart,

I'm going to send a check to his house so he and sue can go to dinner or something. If I was loaded I'dclear his debts but I'm not.....
    You did good here....
    Good post.
    Jim

I just wonted to bring a thread to your attention on the General HD section. Did you see sign out in front of my house that said "dead Ni**er storage?" I personally find it offensive and unnecessary for that particular discussion to be raised.

Thanks for the PM. I love talking guitars and music .. I can get carried away though. I just built a partscaster (strat body) a couple of months ago.. I had a fairly decent mahogany body and order the neck, pickups and tuners off ebay. I used the deluxe locking tuners, the vintage hot noiseless, and a very nice MIM all maple neck. I spent some time getting everthing to "fit" just right.
It is now my goto guitar at all of my gigs.. I have a lot of guitars but my main two are my Les Paul and my Partscaster (strat).

When the band is doing the Wednesday bike night I use a Hughes and Kettner combo amp to play through (thing sounds great).

When playing out on the weekends, I use a line 6 X3 live floor pod direct into a Yamaha 01V digital mixer. The whole band is direct on these shows. The drummer uses a full Roland V drum setup , the Bass player uses a Bass pod. We have in ear monitors ...there is no stage volume at all. We can get a great mix for anysize venue . It's one of the reaons we stay so busy. We get a great sound even in small places.

I have quite a bit of recording experiance with certain software and tape drives .. Let me know if you have any questions.
