uluc- That is very odd because HD leans our motorcycle (air / fuel ratio) for EPA and to give best gas mileage (lean condition). If you have not upgraded the air breather (no aftermarket coned air breathers) and it is still stock then no ECM upgrade is required for the V&H pipes. If you changed the air breather then you will need to change the AFR. Since I would think that you do not have access to a Dynomometer I would suggest going with the "fuel moto" pig tail. Fuel Moto is one of the site sponsors and by reading these forums everyone is very happy with them. I am only suggesting the Fuel Moto because Im assuming you do not have access to a Dyno machine. If you do have access to a Dyno go with the HD Super Tuner (contrary to belief the super tuner opens up the mapping table in the ECM allowing more fields to be changed).
As for the double fuel consumption? This should not be happening. Your bike (unmodified to include the aftermarket pipes) should be running very lean 12-14% when you should be at around 18-19%. I would check the quality of fuel that you are burning, oil levels and possible leak, additionally O2 sensors (may have a factor?). Let me know how it turns out.

Hey, I rode into today, and the brakes felt really off. In fact, it took me almost 10 feet to stop at 30mph. Weird smell coming from the rotors, and at times I can hear the rear wheel rubbing against the brake pads. Also, when I pull the front brake sometimes it gets hard and won't go back any further, the bike isn't stopping, and the lever is only 1/4 the way pulled back. It doesn't feel like it's because the pad is on the rotor, it feels like it is because there is pressure pushing against the brake lever? I know you said the rotors would need to be worn in. Is this normal?
