I want to see more. Cant speak for others. I was an engine builder for a long time, so i enjoy seeing the inside of the new motor. For something with a 4.3" stroke, I'm surprised they get away with not much of a skirt on the piston. It must have a shallow rod angle I'm guessing? The cross hatch looks pretty serious too. If memory serves me right, plateau honing was big not long ago and the walls would look a little smoother. Great info, keep it up !

Thanks a lot do doing this. I'm really interested in the cam chest. I'm thinking of doing a cam job myself during the rainy season. I'd be grateful for some insight on how to do this with maybe a little more detail. Thanks again for your time.

stupid question probably..wonder why the tensioner shoe is hollow in the middle..wouldn't a solid one ensure longer life..or is the material so tough that it shouldn't ever wear down? at least it's easy to inspect and replace...something to do every 20, 30k... or......

Thanks everyone. Will set up some flow bench tests over the weekend.
Then we can see whats really potentially possible.
If it dont flow good, it wont go good.

Yes, please. I expect others like me have no idea what you are talking about or what these pictures are. The most I will ever do is remove my tour pack (with quick release) and install my solo seat.... So I doubt I will ever comment on this post. But I enjoy reading and trying to learn. Thanks in advance.
