Can you post the Part Number for the old K&N element and the non M8 Ventilator cover. I have the same scoot (different color) and want to try out the same configuration. Thanks.

The standard filter supplied with all of the A/Cs mentioned will come with the Oiled Gauze Filter... The 587 can be upgraded to the Synthetic shown HERE

IME, the SE air filter and/or air cleaner assy provide plenty air for stage 1&2 builds.

Just saw the arlen ness big sucker stg.1 air cleaner kit for the 2017 touring bikes that uses stock cover on 2 websites.
J and p cycles, and eastern performance cycles

The cover plate and filter you mention has different holes for bolting up to the m8 ventilator backing plate. Did you drill new holes in filter and cover to match
