I hear you, we've had 2 dry days since I bought mine. I might get a window tomorrow for little ride before the next big storm hits. You don't ride in the rain around here, ******** are dangerous enough on dry streets.

Forkin' sux! Just returned from SWFL where I was riding daily, and now back in NJ (40 degrees with rain) until March 1-4 (depending on work) looking at the 4 bikes in my garage, and expecting to trade-in one of the FLSTCs for an FLHR.

But if I can get a dry day over 40 degrees, I'll be out for a ride 4sure!

I was hoping you were going to get out last weekend and enjoy the feel of your new M8 breaking in. I will amaze you!

Where in north NJ Ringwood here

My 17 RGS loves cold weather. Over 1,100 miles just for January and have over 10 days left. Total from the end of September is 4,500.

Salt never made a difference to any of the bikes that I winter rode.

I know how bum body parts can screw with ones ride. I have a belly full of double mess to keep me together all put together with what looks like 120lb fishing line with stainless steel barbs. Imagine a rose stem stitched into your abdomen. And to think I drug a knee today. I was impressed how I could slide off the RK, counter steer and keep the bikes lean angle under control. Then I wanted a Soma Tab and Oxy when I got home.... lolololololol

Default Winter Sucks

Even if we get a warm day there is still salt everywhere and I gets into everyplace on the bike . Add to that black ice and drivers unaware of a bike out .
Last winter was a different story we were riding up till christmas . Christmas eve and day we rode 500 miles combines up in the adirondacks by Sacandaga . It was beautiful . It was warm enough here saturday to ride but the roads are loaded with salt
