We are not 1000 mile trip riders we really like to ride whatever for miles a day, meaning if it's good 200 if not no.
We are not true touring couple
I would much prefer to ride light with the trunk off and not for those long touring runs you guys take

Congrats on the new ride and you picked the best color made. I also got the painted tour pack and it looks bad *** as well. Sounds like you are doing it up right from the get go.

Nice scoot, congrats. One of the best colors they came out with. I really like the Laguna Orange and the Denim Grey.

Congrates on the bike and hope the weather warms up so you can ride (a ton).
Yep I think that dealers not wanting to go below MSRP is exaggerated or may have been the case within the first few weeks of release. I guess there may be some dealers that know they can get away with it and try to keep the 2017s at MSRP.

Mine was a cash deal no trade and my OTD price including all taxes and fees was right at 1000 below MSRP on the 2017 RGU

Folks are right about that Laguna Orange if it was available on a RGU it would have likely been my choice

Where did You get that deal? I'm looking to get a 2017 Ultra Limited. If I found a place to give me full retail for my bike I would probably jump on it now rather then waiting til later in the year.

They gave me full retail for my bike over $10k, which in crappy snowy Michigan I was researching selling out right for about $ 8 k in our market. Oh and it needed both tires and when they came and got it the primary started leaking.
They got me 2.49% interest from a local credit union
It came down down to numbers I could live with and a new bike I can't wait to ride
Waiting on the lowers and a detachable tour pack for delivery
That sounds like I deal that would make me upgrade. I've been trying to get numbers here for trade on my '09. I have 5 dealers within 45 minutes of me. All of them are at MSRP for the '17 Limited and all of them are within $500 of trade value for mine. Nothing is screaming at me to pull the trigger. Trade Value they are all telling me is about $3-4K under NADA Resale. $7K'ish for my bike is what they are all around.

Smile Ray C s

Go see Jon at Ray Cs in Lapeer

Like I said I'm far from a Harley buying expert but I was happy with the deal and they have treated my wife and I excellently. I also only live 5 min from there.

I got to ride it yesterday man am I thrilled with it! The power, ride and comfort is so superior to my 06 there's no comparison
