Default bike will not start

2017 roadglide special with 5k miles. Well, I went on 5 weeks vacation. I came back home and for some reason I thought about my bike not on battery tender before going away. I went straight to the garage before anything else and sure enough she was not on tender.
Battery totally dead! I took it out and went to HD for a swap. Fortunately, she still under warranty so its free of charge.

Installed new battery and double check connections before starting. I turned ignition to on and everything lights up and shows past 12volts at the gauge. Selected kill start switch to start and heard fuel pump go off. Pressed start button and nothing? No clicking, no sign of starter motor firing up. WTF!
Key fob with me. No fault at the console. Put the bike in gear and rock it. No help. Hold clutch lever while starting still nothing. Put back in neutral and still not starting.

What could go wrong? checked all fuses and all good. Is there anything I missed out?

Wow,really bizarre! I would check for codes.Hold trigger switch down while turning ignition on.Step thru codes with trigger switch.Check fob battery.Try to start with security code.
If all else fails have Dealer pick it up.

this may sound really simple, but is the run start switch on? I have done that one before.

Is the neutral light on? Was there a spark when you replaced the battery? I believe there is a reset by turning the ignition on and off x amount of times, check the manual.

my guess is the battery is not up to full charge and the computer will not start the bike if voltage is low, when you got to crank battery voltage might be to low.

My service guy told me with the new M8s you should have around 14 volts in order to provide sufficient power to crank them over due to all of the draw on power for the new bikes.
