Default Knocked my ignition out of alignment

I'm installing the auxiliary lights and removed the ignition (to remove the dash panel), like the moron I am I didn't have my forks locked left when I did it. It got out of whack and ended up locking the forks. I tried the screw driver method, no luck. I ordered an alignment tool, hoping it makes quick work of the job.

I'm assuming I need to slowly turn the tool in order to line up the tumblers. Has anyone gone through this before that can offer some advice?

Thanks in advance

Lol nope, every search brings him up though. I'll mess around with it and figure it out, service manual isn't very clear on it

Good to know that the tool works but hopefully won't need it again

For sure, it's sitting secure in my toolbox just in case I ever need it again
