After owning a Road Glide this set up on a Ultra is lacking, especially for what they cost.

I had a 14 Street Glide a couple of years ago. I removed the dual halogen that came stock on the bike and installed the Trucklite version LED and was not impressed. Took it off sold it and put the OEM double halogen back in.
Sure seems strange without a doubt. Seeing that's it's under warranty couldn't hurt to have the dealer have a look. It's not impossible to have a bad light or adjuster. IDK but I ran Daymakers in my last RGU and honestly I don't think it was much if any better than my new Limited.

No idea why anyone would replace day makers. That just makes no sense at all.

Purpleduece can you send me a pic of that light and aux lights on your bike? I would really appreciate it. Also have you had it out at night since you installed it and how is the output? Thanks

Maybe because I am a blind dumb ****. My light does not live up to the Daymaker legend. Maybe it is defective.

It's not just you. Many along with myself observed the daymaker headlight to be severely lacking when the bike is leaned over during a turn.
I think Harley never realized that a motorcycle does need to lean when making a turn at anything over 10 mph. Whoever signed off on that **** poor headlight design obviously never tried the thing at night. No doubt it was just designed on someones laptop and never tested. When leaned over in a turn, the sharp cutoff beam from the daymaker just doesn't produce any light making it downright dangerous.

I think there is something going on at the factory with the adjustment of these Daymaker headlights. Myself & 2 other people I know purchased a new 2017 Limited & all 3 of us had the same issue. The 2 lower adjustment screws were ran all the way in, leaving almost no adjustment to bring the light up with the top adjustment screw.I backed the lower screws off a tad & then was able to adjust headlight up where it is useful again. My highbeams did not reach 30 feet out from motorcycle when I first got it...wondered what all the hub-bub was about these Daymakers at first, til I got them adjusted properly. lol.

i'm confused, are we talking about daymaker projectors or daymaker reflectors or both?
