The CVO screen fits the 2017 Road King, so I would be shocked if it didn't fit the Special. Would be helpful if the HD site would update the bike builder for the Special.
Welcome to the early world of Breakout owners . Plenty of Blackline, etc, parts fit our rides but the HD site was small help. Here on HDF is where you find out what fits. Start an "Everything RoadKing Special" thread and share.

Unfortunately the lack of a windshield isn't the only thing standing between me and one of these bad boys,, otherwise there would be one parked beside my BO come spring.

Lol Clean bike debated which way to go for a long time myself, Love the black and chrome look definitely timeless. Still have 10 days before mine arrives.

Considering the new RK s is equipped with a freightrain necelle, any current mounting system might be obsolete

The standard shield will fit. Picked this one up for 20 bucks. Going to powder coat frame and bolts black and replace shield with Freedom Shields recurve dark tinted shield. Looks pretty bad in this pic. Lol.

Was diddling around on "bike builder" the 14" smoked quick detach windshield takes little away from the RKS looks IMHO. If I were to have this bike I'd install that screen after having the bright metal hardware powder coated black.

I like using "Bike Builder". The only downside to it is that my keyboard shorts out owing to the drool.

Except for the color, I don't think yours will be mistaken for mine. LOL

Ordered 16" bars yesterday.
