I put on 12" Reapers and initially Wild1 told me no extensions, I had to buy 8" extensions for the switch wires. They were NAMZ and only $30. $250 for the slightly used bars, did the work myself. Wasn't that hard. I wouldn't let $30 extensions be in the way of you wanting 12" and settling for 10"

New bars arrived yesterday, although after inspecting them this morning, they're not new. They've definitely been mounted before, and most likely used for a short time, because there's rust where the knurled rider portion is showing that they'd been clamped down on. There are also several knicks/scratches on them. But, today was the day I'd made up my mind to install them, so I said, "screw it!" I used them anyway. I did write the seller a friendly message which will hopefully urge him the future to look over his merchandise before shipping. Gotta love Ebay sellers.

Anyway, cables were plenty long enough for the 10", but I had to pick up some wiring extensions from Harley this afternoon. Probably could have made it work with existing wires, but turning the forks to lockout would have been on my mind all the time.

I like the bars and think the 10" is perfect. With the new low profile touring seat, I'm sitting a bit lower, so they feel taller to me. Once I get the nacelle put back on, I'll post a photo.

Happy it worked out for you. Can't wait to see a pic of the finished product.

Default 12inch Wild1 Reapers

I got my bars a couple days ago. Can you post a photo? Also, so you just needed the extensions? Cables were good? I have an 05 Road King Classic.
Thank you!
Tim

Did you have to change any cables?

14" Factory 47's can be installed without new cables. Any taller and you need to spend the coin.

Hey to all, Went through this same process and ended up keeping my stock bars, and put on 3 1/2" risers. Stock wires/cables all fit no extensions. Got the risers out of the "Fat" Book... Very happy with mine. good luck with your bike, CSM-H
