Same here. Had them throw in a few goodies worth about $300. Got a decent but not stunning value for my trade in.

No complaints though. LOVE the bike.

 

If that is without a trade, I think you're getting a pretty decent deal. Only a few months ago they were demanding MSRP, if not MSRP plus mark-up.

However, assuming you are not trading, and I think that's a pretty good deal, I would still go for no dealer prep or shipping fees, 1k and 5k service thrown in, and if you want to purchase any add-ons right away, try to negotiate those, or at least 1/2 price. Remain firm and tell them you are ready to buy. The worst they can do is say no.

Also, if you are financing, be sure to check with your local bank or better yet, credit union. HD credit is usually way high compared to other sources unless you are buying a '16.

They "told" me 26K last weekend but I wont be able to do the deal until this Friday/Saturday. Will see if they keep their word.

I wonder how much in taxes you guys are paying? In GA you pay a 1 time tax equal to 7% of vehicle value which basically translates to vehicle price plus freight and doc fees. I think my taxes alone were over $1,900.

I just looked at my paperwork from November for my Black Quartz RGU.

Bike - $25,400 (MSRP is $26,899)
Freight - $435
Processing fees - $1195 (doc fees)
Total of those charges $27,030 plus $1,940 in tax, tag, title ($1,892 of that is the tax).
