I had a 103 Twinkie in Street Bob, cool *** bike. But the M8 in the SGS is so much better.

 

Never had a twinkie so I can't say anything about them but if it wasn't for the M8's I would bought another brand , I'd have been done with harley except for the old bikes like shovels & evo's. Love my RK.

 

M8 is running much cooler than my twin cam.

 

I'm still breaking mine in, but I too almost bought a 16. A friend kept urging me to ride a 17. Well the rest is history. Love my 17 Ultra. I did buy extra warranty just in case, now I just plan to ride the wheels off of it. You will enjoy either bike.

 

I was working a deal on trading my 2014 SGS for a 2016 CVO Ultra, rode the 2017 and bought the standard Ulta Limited the next day.

Nothing wrong with getting a deal on a 2016, many thousands less than the 2017, but the new one is really a better all around bike
