Insurance has huge variables from driving record, age, zip code, garage/ no garage, driving history, married, credit rating and more.
After that you need to add the type of bike, value of bike, type of coverage you want and other variables.
I would suggest you use some of the online insurance quotes without using your social security number to better identify a provider that might meet your needs.

Unfortunately, this is typical for most insurance companies. $521 per year is actually not that bad considering a "good" semi-annual premium is usually around $250 - $300.

It may not be easy to find a replacement policy at that rate given you now have one point on your record.

Best of luck!

Next time you think your Harley insurance is too high, ask for a quote for a sport bike.

I am new around here and this is as good a topic as any to get my post count up.

If you are paying over $500 a year in the lower 48 and are over 24 1/2 you are not shopping around enough. That is unless you have a habit of being a bad driver.
