Default Markel Insurance Opinions

Looking for feedback on Markel Insurance. They are currently the cheapest I've found with the same coverages I have now.

I have not signed with them yet but I am considering it.
They offer agreed value which I would like to have.

I have had them for a few years have always been fair on premiums never had a claim and with vanishing deductible i have $0 deductible. I had asked the service dept if they had dealt with them in service and they told me they were not hard to deal with.

I've had them on the last 3 bikes including now and have always had good service with them. I have not had to file a claim so can't say on that but customer service on the phone has been more than pleasant.

I had with them last year. 900 + for a new front fender. No problems fast claim service no increase in premium. I recommend them.

Started the quote process online with Markel. Hadn't even selected all the coverage options for one bike and it was already more than 50% of the total cost that I'm paying for 3 bikes. With much, much less coverage than I currently have.
Sorry Markel, doesn't look like it's in the cards at this time.

There's no personal information that can come from this request. How about we put some actual numbers up? I'll kick it off.......

2014 FLHTK
lowest deductible
Highest coverage including roadside assistance, new bike replacement etc.....
Premium cost $584 yr.

I'm sure there are some out there that may can beat that?

GEICO
2014 FLHTK
100/300 Liability, including uninsured and Underinsured motorist
Comprehensive and Collision with $500 deductible.
Medical Payment
No roadside assistance, new bike replacement or any of that stuff.
Somewhere around $200 per year

But my numbers are meaningless to anyone other than me. Insurance premiums vary widely for every company based on many, many variables- so you really can't claim that a specific company is cheaper than another- other than for your specific situation.

Many could ask GEICO for similar coverage than mine and end up with a way different premium.
