But that doesn't stop insurance companies from trying their damndest to cheap out on parts and/or send you to one of their "direct repair program" shops.

WOW! 12 bucks a month??? I have Rider and this year it jumped 100 buck because as per Rider ins " the rate of no insurance crashes in my area" caused it. WTF! I have no crashes, citations or claims. Yet I'm now paying over 560 bucks a year for full coverage on my '09 ultra that I can only ride 6 month of the year.

If you go to the Texas Insurance Commission they rate all companies who write insurance in TX

this is link
http://www.helpinsure.com/auto/documents/cpautoci15.pdf

Here you can look up the company and see how many complaints and how many policies and the ratio between the 2. Looking at Dairyland, they are not outside of most other insurance companies.

Just an FYI

Dairyland was recommended for me by HD insurance. Been with them for years, but never have had a claim. Progressive is owned by anti-American George Soros. Friends don't let friends do Progressive.

Thanks for letting me know that George Soros owns progressive insurance... it makes me a lot better knowing I kick them to the curb today. I went back to geico after I got a recent price quote.
Update:
I was paying a $80 a month price with progressive and thought that was a bit high. I was paying $21 for 03 Volusia then bought a 01 ultra classic and it went to $78. The same policy I took to geico and I paid $368 for a full year... roughly $30 a month and in fact I was able to add uninsured underinsured with geico.... I was only with progressive due to USAA not insuring motorcycles as my trucks are with USAA.
I am not sure what is going on in the insurance world but there is something fishy....
