I realize this is an old thread, but some people may still have questions...EagleRider's EVIP-ZERO is now $35 a day (in LA). The renter is only responsible for theft of the bike; that's where the $1,000.00 deductible applies.

What damage waivers and supplemental liability insurance does EagleRider offer?

VIP Theft and Damage: Renter pays up to $2,000 USD for damage to the motorcycle and $2,000 USD per occurrence of theft. $21 a day.

EVIP Theft & Damage: Renter pays up to $1,000 USD for damage to the motorcycle and $1,000 USD per occurrence of theft. $26 a day.

EVIP ZERO Theft & Damage: Renter pays $0 USD for damage to the motorcycle and $1,000 USD per occurrence of theft. $35 a day.


Supplemental Liability Insurance: Protects the renter, and the passenger, with third party liability coverage.
We offer two options: One covers up to $300,000, and the other covers up to $1,000,000 in excess of statutory limits required.

 

Your insurance should cover anything you drive/ride.
But word of warning: Take pictures of everything on the bike. Every dent, ding, scratch.
The dealership will back charge you for everything.
