A clarification. Harley does not provide insurance coverage

H-D is an agent/broker for several insurance companies, Foremost, Progressive, and others. H-D provides policy support and billing services so the insurance companies usually charge a lower premium for policies through H-D. After getting a Foremost quote through H-D I got a quote directly from Foremost for the same coverage and it was higher. When a potential customer calls H-D provides 3 or so quotes from the companies they represent. Be careful to compare the quotes as to amount and type of coverage.

Has not been for me. I've been with Dairyland for several years. Geico is the only other company that comes close.

 

When I bought my bike in 05, they gave me a much better deal than my insurance company would give me, not sure how they would rate now but I've stayed with them this long and they haven't raised my rates any.

 

I just went through the insurance process....when I tried the HD insurance it was the exact same quote as Progressive...in fact the website was just rebranded with Harley banners.


I ended up with Dairyland, cheapest I found.
