You can always go with the cheapest you've found so far and then shop some more after you get the bike. You'll get your money back from the first company if you cancel and move to another company. Prorated of course for time passed..

Edit: Oh, go directly to the Progressive website and get a quote. It might be a bit cheaper. Your rates can sometimes be higher when working through an agent. They gotta get paid somehow ya know.. It will only take a few minutes and you can't do it if you insure with progressive through an agent.

No offense but not sure how much your time is worth to you but for me, $100 bucks is $100 bucks and when I was shopping, I was trying my best to save money so I could apply more to getting my bike.

That's what I did too. My auto insurer was crazy high so I went online and checked out Progressive and the rest is history, been there over 9 years now without any issues or rate changes. Can't say if they are the cheapest or not but I like things easy and that's what I got.

Yeah, and I've found they are the cheapest. I check periodically. And the cool part is it goes down each year, not up. I just checked my policy and I have the 100/300/50 so we're talking apples to apples. I might add, if you switch your cars over to them too you get a multi-vehicle discount. And you get another discount if you pay your premium in full..

mine is $145 a year with a $1000 deductible, full coverage, additional medical and uninsured motorist thru GEICO. I think it is lower here because motorcycle insurance is not a mandatory thing in Florida ( i know weird huh)

Yeah they are. I want to switch my house over to them too, but I have to wait because I had a claim on my current policy. As soon as I can, I will because it will be cheaper for the same coverage and there's another discount. I sound kinda like Flo dont I?

That's what I have with Allstate here in PA.
With my new umbrella policy it extends my liability to $1 million across all my policies - home, car & bike - plus on the bike policy I have new bike replacement clause (not just bluebook numbers) for I believe two or three years and I have an additional coverage of $5K to cover extras - all for a little under $500 a year... no complaints.

I'd say no. I'm paying $1200/year for my insurance, have a high deductible, married, no accidents, etc... :/ Think it's time to shop for new insurance.
