My friend has a basket case sportster, the frame and body style are 1976 and the motor and tranny are 1985. He also has extra forks and tripple trees, a hydrolic disk brake and forward controls for this bike. he had plans but they fell through and never got to work on it to get it together. It can be yours today for $1500.00 I would suggest putting new rings and such because the heads have been removed at some time (the previous owner had plans on rebuilding the heads) as far as I know everything is there but some minor things like cables. drop me a pm
