This bike is in highly original condition. The frame number and the engine numbers are factory correct and original. It is the 88 cubic inch engine. The transmission is also original to the machine. This Harley is in almost showroom condition, with very little, if any, wear evident on any of its surfaces.
This machine has been in a private collection since new, is started on a regular basis, and ridden occasionally.
All of the major engine, transmission, and braking components have been recently checked by an authorized Chicago suburban Harley dealership, and all required maintenance is up to date and current. New tire installed less than 500 miles ago.
The bike is hard wired for a battery tender.
The seat was replaced when new, to a smoother looking and more comfortable 100 anniversary Harley seat, with a passenger pillion, and the 100 anniversary original Harley back rest. It is in perfect condition.
Close to $ 7500 has been spent on major motor upgrades with performance parts, including new pistons, porting and polishing the heads, new rockers, intake, carb, exhaust, etc. I have a complete list and all receipts for everything, and will be happy to email it to serious buyers. There was literally too much done to the bike and motor to list everything.
The aluminum and chrome on the bike are in near flawless condition, additional original Harley chromed parts have been added. The paint, again, is in near flawless condition.
All the original one year only 100 year anniversary emblems are properly placed on the bike.
The Harley on the road is very fast, easy to handle, and rides down the road very tight, with no shimmies, shakes, or rattles. It shifts and accelerates smoothly, and holds the road firmly as it should.
There is absolutely nothing that needs to be done to this bike.
