1972 XLH Ironhead 1000cc -- $3,400
Location: Central Kentucky
Asking $3,400 OBO
1972 Harley-Davidson XLH Sportster 1000cc
*Custom Grips, Pegs, Sissy Bar, and Carb Cover
*Brand New Tires and Tubes come with the bike (unmounted)
*Both Kick and Electric Start (both are functioning)
*New front and rear brake shoes
*Clear Title
*Comes with H-D Service Manual
If you are looking for a classic motorcycle project that is already well on its way, this is it. The bike runs well, especially for a 35-year-old motorcycle.
Note: This bike looks good, but the pictures here make the bike look better than it does in person (I don't want to give you any surprises). Also, there are several oil leaks, which is not unusual on an old Ironhead. Some of the oil is getting on the rear tire, which will need to be fixed.
