list it on ebay as an auction, with a suitable reserve.
start it at $100, and let it draw attention.
not know the price, and thinking they can get it cheap, will make people interested
it wont sell
re-list it as a "buy it now or best offer"
and list your price.
and folks will KNOW your realistic price
and it wont sell
BUT, it will draw enough attention, that people will tell their friends, and that will get your exposure, and the buyer will find your bike.
and usually, a few folks will start negotiating, and in a few days, it will dwindle down to 1 or 2 people.
and 1 of them will buy in a week or two.
i sell a LOT of bikes (I am "the guy" that sells bikes in our group) that way, from $10k to $23k.
always works, if your price is realistic.

nah, i run a pretty tight ship, and charlotte is too far away for me to control.
my excellent feedback on Ebay is part of what makes folks comfortable. they know i won't risk that for a quick buck on a crappy bike. (not yours is, just saying i cant see it in person easily). i bought one unseen once, with very few pics, and it was NOT in as good as shape as i thought, i paid about $500 to have stuff fixed that more pics would have revealed.
i think you can do it yourself.
i am just a ole redneck, but i can give you my too sense
just for reference, i charge $65 for the ebay fees (usually about $30 for each ebay run)
and $100 for my time. (usually end up dealing with a LOT of questions & stuff via email)
FWIW, you can do it yourself: take 75~100 pictures.
put 12 or whatever the max is on ebay. write a good ad with sections (controls, mirrors, seats, pipes/motor mods) with some white space between the sections. spell check: it might be cool to be a tough biker, but most folks swinging a new bike in this economy want to buy from someone who can spell
put the rest of the pics on photobucket, there should be NO QUESTION that a potential buyer has, that he cannot answer by studying a picture:
-a choke: tells you it is carbed.
-3 wires down to front tire on a dresser: it has ABS.
-turn signals: smoked, clear, LED, upgraded
-air cleaner: stage 1, brand, tuner, pipes, if o2 sensors are still in.
-hand controls: show cruise controls, aftermarket grips....
basically, an educated buyer should never have to ask you a question: if he is serious about popping 10~20k on the bike, he will STUDY every picture, and know the deal.
PM me your write up if you want to.
