I am offering up my one owner 1983 FXRS Superglide II for sale. It has 44K miles on it, new back tire & H-D rear break pads, "O-ring" chain, battery & fluids change in May, 2013.

It is stock other than adding the following:
3" risers on the handlebars
Mustang seat
S&S "Shorty" carb
Chrome inner & outer primary
Chrome rocker box tops
Chrome cam cover
Chrome Dash (has fuel gauge built in)
Chrome oil bag
Chrome side struts
Chrome short sissy bar
Chrome luggage rack
Chrome lay back license tag bracket
Custom all leather saddle bags on brackets. Bags has steel inserts so that they don't get that saggy look.
Progressive shocks (1" shorter than stock)
Custom paint (PPG Black Radiance with graphics)
Single Fire ignition with duel plugged heads
Drag Specialties forward controls

Reason for sale: I have another bike, and frankly, I am too old to ride this one...and it is very fast and nimble.

Note: I will also include the factory repair manual and parts book, the original HOG membership patch and rocker for 1983, and the original orange H-D warranty ID that is an embossed card (like a credit card) AND an original Harley sales brochure. I will also throw in a set of used drag pipes. This bike was dyno'd with drag pipes and stock pipes and performed better with stock pipes. Yes, you will get the dyno run chart, too.

If you want the original parts: tank & fenders (indigo blue & pewter), seats (no rips or tears), black oil tank, low risers for handlebars, black plastic dash, black textured inner primary and original shocks, add $2500 to the price. If you don't I will ebay them for much more (or you can ebay them after you buy them).

Remember, they do not make shovel-heads anymore. This bike is clean and reliable. It is not your cookie cutter bikes that you see every day.
