For Sale: 2008 Harley Davidson Night Train

Reason for selling: Looking to upgrade to a Road King or Street Glide, so am in no rush to sell it.

Mileage: 6,478 but will increase as I continue to ride it.

About the bike: Bike runs flawlessly, no issues whatsoever. With it being the 2008 it is the 2ND year for the 96 cubic inch motor that is fuel injected, with the 6 speed transmission. Prior to 2007, they were 88 ci, 5-speeds. The 6th gear is especially nice on the highway when you want a long cruising gear.

I just finished up redoing the bike, it received a black paint job and the triple trees, lower fork tubes, and headlight ring were items were powdercoated by Killer Koatings in Independence, KY. While I had the forks apart, I replaced the seals and refilled them with HD fork oil. I also replaced the front brake rotor while I had the wheel off.

As far as aftermarket items go, it has Vance and Hines Big Shots exhaust. It has a custom made gel seat from a shop up in Columbus that is extremely comfortable. I just put Road 6 Customs 12” Apes on the bike, in my opinion they really set the bike apart. The bike also has misc. HD accessories such as: forward controls, grips, brake and cluch levers.

The bike does have a rebuilt salvage title – I have the vehicle reports from this as well if you want to see them. I have had a Harley shop go over the bike, as well as a body shop and both gave it a clean bill of health and didn’t find any issues. Due to the rebuilt title, the price is over $3,500 lower than any comparable Night Train you will find; and this one has more modifications and less miles.
