1964 triumph TR6SR
Selling for a family member due to life changes...
For sale is a 1964 triumph TR6SR with 9k original miles on it. This is 1 of 430 ever built and when restored to original these sell for 16k at auction. NADA has the bike valued at $14,605 for excellent condition. Arvada British cycles in Denver sold a rusted barn find bike of the same year and model for 4k just recently. Here is a list of the restorations so far I have done:
New Paint job last year
Boyer electronic ignition
converted to 12v electronics with all new capacitors and wiring
Engine seals replaced when the Boyer was installed
complete suspension overhaul with heavier springs for front and rear.
new rubber all around
new Speedometer and tachometer (do have the original Smiths that will go with the bike)
Bike starts on the first kick and runs amazing. Only work that needs to be finished is a valve adjustment as it smokes out of the right tail pipe when first started, goes away after riding a short distance. As with all older original British bikes it leaks a couple drops of oil after each ride. I always keep a small piece of cardboard underneath just in case and been using the same piece for that last several years.
I have several extra parts and tools that I will include with the sale. If interested will include two Bluetooth helmets and leather jacket for a reasonable amount.
Asking $8000 OBO offer. The bike is located in Grand Junction Colorado
PM me if interested. I will give you the phone number for the famliy member. Dont want to post it to the Forum.
