New to riding, any great half day rides south of Denver.

 

Take 83 south to Palmer Divide, head west to Palmer Lake, have a meal at either the Speed Trap or the bar where all the land pirates hang out. After that head north on Perry Park Rd/105 to Sedalia. You're back close in to town at the end of that. Not quite a full half day but an easy fun ride. Sorry I replied so late.
