Looks like this thread has died off a bit.
Took the 'ol lady up through Jackson Hole, Yellowstone, West Yellowstone and Mesa Falls over the weekend. Perfect weather, only a bit of rain for about a 20 mile stretch. 1000+ miles over four days.
It was however pure hell dropping back into the valley from Monte Cristo and being hit with that 99 degree wall of heat. Makes for an exhausting ride home. But the burger at Shooting Star Saloon more than made up for it.
Thinking about heading over the Mirror Lake Hwy next week and staying over for the Evanston Brewfest. Quite the event the put on. I love summer!

2014 Ride Against Child Abuse
Hey guys, I could use some input on this year's ride against child abuse. It is scheduled for Saturday, September 20. The current plan is to do as we have the last couple of years -- start and end at Timpanogos HD, ride up Provo Canyon through Midway to Kamas and back via Wanship, I-80, and back down 40, through Midway again and back down the canyon.
I'm thinking, though, about doing something different this year: starting and ending at Legends Motorcycles in Springville and riding the Nebo Loop. Either way, we'll have lunch provided by 5 Star BBQ and a drawing for some sweet prizes, etc.
What do you think? Which would you be most likely to come for?
Thanks for you input.

Just curious if there is a bike nite anywhere in the valley during a week night? Being from the south it seems there were more gatherings than there are here. Does Utah frown upon this or am I just too new to know of any secret week nite gathering that involves drinking a few beers and chatting about Harleys and meeting new folks.
