Hi - anyone going to the Salute to American Veteran's Rally in Cripple Creek, CO, next week? I will be riding there from Minnesota. Went last year, great fun. Especially great as one of my son's was stationed at Ft. Carson after deploying to Iraq and before and after going to Afghanistan. He is now at Ft. Hood, but I got to meet some guys that he deployed with.

 

We were there, but went in my truck. Bike wasn't ready yet and neither was I. Got a nice deal on a leather jacket from one of the vendors, and my wife bought a couple of gremlin bells for co-workers.

Lots of bikes, maybe 2,500?

The P51 Mustang flyover was the highlight of the day for us.

 

I made it, was a good time !!

 

We're leaving this afternoon for the 2014 edition. Bike's ready this year, and so am I. I ride a maroon and black 1999 Heritage and my buddy rides a pearl white 2001 Springer.

Should be a good time.
