Default Grizzly HD Missoula

Went in to kill a little time while waiting for wife and child to fly into airport nearby. I am on a road trip from Ct and May be moving south of there but this would have been my go to dealer. I didn't like the lack of appreciation by any of the 4 staff member I engaged. All asked if I purchased my bike with them, when I stated that I didn't they didn't seem as interested as much as before. Everything was msrp list price with no discounts. Since I would be living a little ways away I asked if they offered shuttles into town when doing service, as they are out by the airport, about 7-10 mins from town, the service manger seemed shocked I would ask and said nope, I also asked if they discounted rentals if the service was going to be more then a day and was laughed at and said no.
I will find an indie if I make the leap across country to do my work or take on more myself. Why do dealers act as though they are doing us the paying customer a favor? When I was working and in the service industry I never treated my customers or perspective customers like I feel I get at most HD dealerships.

Welcome to Montana. Most of the dealers in the state own more than one dealership. You should be prepared to take on the work yourself. Not a lot of competition and most stuff is secondary. As in seconds. For example, bought cvo in mt. In 18k miles experienced catastrophic engine failure blown rear tire, voltage regulator and clutch replacement

Compared to 04 bike bought used that now has 160k and is more depenable than CVO

In mt you get beautiful country, great scenery and crappy products and services. Average is brought down by a number of factors. One being lack of competition.

Experienced this same attitude in Great Falls when we stopped there one year.
