SD & WY...what crap is on your roads?
Ok, so I'm a ***** and took my TriGlide to Sturgis in an enclosed trailer. But, this helps me narrow down my issue.
While in Sturgis, we stayed at the Chip, and got lots of dust on it there. We put a couple 100 miles riding to Deadwood, and Mt. Rushmore. We rode through rain on the way back from Mt. Rushmore. Then we trailered to Yellowstone, and put a couple 100 miles riding the upper and lower loops.
So, here's the issue. Before the trip all the aluminum on my non coated wheels, , and brake hardware was nice and shiny. Now it looks like I rode the trike through a winter on salty slushy roads in Rochester, NY.
What's up with this? Was there so much salt used this winter that it still came up when it rained?
