Outside beer - Chip?

You can't bring outside alcohol. Some people (ahem) might have ways to get it in. But, if they search and find it, they will take it. So, hide it well. They do sell package beer there, though. More expensive than you can get it in town, but much cheaper than the $4 or $5 that they sell them for individually.

Very limited to what brands you can buy in bulk at the chip. Also, didn't see where you could buy bottles of wine or liquor in the Chip. Also, their selection of goods in their general store sucked. Don't expect that you can buy what you need there. It kind of looked like a 7-11 during a blizzard warning.
Just a hint though, after we passed through security the first time in our RV, upon returns on our bike we were never searched,
Otherwise...it was great.

It all depends on which person checks you in. We got through without even a search but my friends had everything searched. Once you are in we never got searched again coming in the back gate. Best place to use the john is over by the guard shack, trust me. Don't and I mean don't loose your arm band. Thanks goes out to the main security guy for getting me another one. Keep your ridding group small, otherwise it is a total pain in the ***. It will take you thirty minutes to get out of the chip after 8:30. Oh and enjoy watching people rev the **** out of the bikes at the concerts, that is insane. Don't expect to see a lot of **** just lots of painted or pasted *****. Iron mtn-wilderness loop-needles hwy are the best as is spearfish canyon. Have a great time.

Dude - you will NOT be disappointed! You and everybody in your party can do the do in peace and good-smelling comfort. They come and service them every single morning, and nobody else can use it - it stays locked! LOL!
