Typically a couple hours East of Rapid City.

We hit traffic like that on Saturday it was caused from a accident on east bound ( no east noun in pic ) and construction on west bound once past it opened wide up

 

The two years I went (13 and 14) there was not a soul on I-90 one week before rally. Is it really like that as far out as Murdo? or was that a photo taken with an accident or road construction?

 

That was the result of a fatal accident.

But, when I left headed East on Sat. The same view applied without the accident. Crazy. More trailers hauling bikes than riders. My favorites, and the seeming majority were trailers from MN. Seriously? You can't ride 500 miles?
