Thanks for all the feedback and ideas guys... really appreciate it and love this website. I am headed to Florence S.C on Thursday, trailering the bikes that far if I can get my bloody truck fixed... the brakes are causing me to drink. I may just trade the bitch in and get a new one before then!

Plan on leaving the bike and trailer at a Hampton Inn in Florence and riding the rest of the way down. Snow is in the forecast for PA this week and next. I don't mind cold but wet and cold Sucks.

 

Just got back, Main St isn't allowing cars this year thankfully. Starting to fill up on 6 March. Had a few coolish nights sleeping on the ground but I hear it's warming up a bit. Go to Froggy's and let one of the girls in the lifeguard towers sit on your face.

All I can say is when I was there 3-6 March the sign at the entrance to Main St off of A1A said "Motorcycles Only". I saw one police car on Main St, what happened after I left I have no control over.

 

Had a great experience for the first Daytona Bike Week trip... the ride from Florence was freaking cold... left at 9:30 AM 42 degrees and was not prepared for that cold weather. But, with that said, boy did time fly while we were there.
A most certain return next year.

I hear week two of bike week is a bit crazier than week one... any experience and conformation of such?

 

The last Thursday, Friday and Saturday have always been the peak of the party.
