For those interested in self-guided tours, we have just started to upload some GPX files for download of our favorite rides in and around Ottawa. http://www.ottawahog.com/ and go to EOO GPS Rides. Each ride has full description along with fuel and food stops.
My plan is to park it and take Uber as I know I'm going to be gawking.
Haven't been to Ottawa in 20 yrs, looking forward to visiting some of the sites as well as the Rally.
Do they still have Beaver Tails there?
Sounds like a good idea, but since I just have a regular cell phone and not a Smart phone, I'll have to flag/call a taxi. That will probably get pretty expensive unless I can combine some destinations. Still time to figure it all out.
Cheapest and best bet would be to park at NAC or city of Ottawa parking lot on Laurier when downtown $5~$7 a day, City of Ottawa Byward Parking Garage has a dedicated motorcycle parking and lots on the street as well but have to pay at a meter, the rest of the city has plenty of free parking on the streets. Way cheaper than paying for Taxi.
If anyone is still having issues trying to log on the HOG to register for the rally...please call the main HOG number at 1-800-668-4836 to register by phone.
Anyone from the NYC metro area going to this? As a first time Harley owner (but long time rider) this is my first Harley event and would appreciate some company. BTW I do have American/Canadian dual citizenship so I do appreciate my Canadian brothers. Eh?

Me too.
I'm staying the night with a friend in Buffalo on the first leg before entering Canada near Ogdensburg.
