Default Thunder Beach Bike Rally?

Thinking of going in May, can some of you give advice on what to see, where to ride, your favorite bars, concert locations! Where would you stay, if there is anything still available?

I subscribed hoping you'd get some responses. I have considered going since it's an easy days ride and I use to love PC. Haven't been there in 30 years so doubt I'd even recognize the place. Curious as to the draw of this rally and the size. I know it's mostly now all in one area instead of spread out like it was years past. I have some FB friends that go but I've never really asked them about it.

I have attended the PCB spring rally since 2006. The attendance is definitely on the rebound from years past and i'm seeing new vendors as well. As far as where to stay and favorite bars, PCB has a plethora of bars and condo complexes. As you probably know beach front accommodations will cost you more and we opt for the ones with covered parking. As far as riding, we like going out east on 98 to Apalachicola to the oyster bars it's a very scenic ride and never gets old. West on 98 we go to Destin and visit Harbour Walk. Excellent restaurants and great views of those snow white beaches. If you visit the Thunderbeach website you'll find the event calendar and uou can plan your days accordingly. Never had a bad time and can't wait to get back down there. Leaving from the Atlanta area on May 3. You won't be disappointed if you go. Have fun!
