I can't for the life of me calculate the numerous times I've searched the forums for information. Too many to count.
But, seeing as I finally am a HD owner, it made sense to buck up and join. After months of research and test drives, I ultimately went with a 2014 HD 48. I'd say a fair portion of my research was what I could with it after I got it. As is probably the case with most people, I had ideas in mind before I even had the bike.
I live/work in NYC, but have the bike in ME. The joy of traversing the notches and road of rural southern Maine and northern NH were what I was craving. With the 48, I think I'll enjoy that. I won't get to enjoy it on a regular basis, but I do spend enough time up there to make owning the bike worthwhile.
Anyhow... that's my brief little intro. I'm sure I'll be poking around the sportster forum inquiring about tank lifts, drag bars, directional light relocation, speedo relocation, and even winterization tips!
