Toes in the water ...
Okay, so after 4 years of riding TOMOS Velo 150cc scooters all across South Florida, my wife and I broke down and finally took the HD plunge!
This past Sunday, she chose a 2014 1200 Custom and I chose a 2014 Iron 883 ... girls do like shiny, you know?
Anyway, accessories are being installed, my controls are being moved forward and the bikes will be in our driveway in a few days.
While waiting to ride (very hard to do), I had to join here just so I can "feel" the engine.

Hehe... if she takes it real easy on the 1200, you might be able to keep her in sight with an 883. Be prepared for a rougher ride; some of those scooters just float over the road, but sporties sure don't, feel everything. I think my Helix is smoother on rough city streets than my Tour Glide. You're gonna like being able to do the speed limits... when there's no snowbirds in the way.
