New member and New Harley owner from Chesapeake, VA!!

Thanks for the welcome everyone!! We were able to get out and ride about 200 miles yesterday. It was about 45 deg when we pulled out yesterday morning but warmed up to mid 60's by mid morning. The bike done fantastic!! It rides great, handles great, has plenty of power and overall, is just a blast to ride. My dad & I are so thrilled that we made the move into the touring models.
The only issue that we've seen (more my dad than me) is the lower handlebars. My dad is having some issues with with a muscle or something between his shoulder blades. I'm having a slight issue with the shoulder blade thing but my issue is more my right wrist and the angle in which it comes off the handlebar. For whatever reason it's causing my right wrist to pop, which I've never had any issues with my wrists. So anyway, needless to say, the stock bars are going to go bye bye and will be replaced with a little higher bar. Not sure yet what we're going to go with yet but we'll do something over the winter, (nice winter time project) :-).
Other than the handlebar issue, we both love the bikes. We also know that Harley (or any company) can't build something to fit everyone. Motorcycles are the perfect thing to customize and make "yours", so let the fun begin!!
Y'all ride safe!!
