New Member LA 99 FXDWG
Hi. New member in LA, CA . Have owned a 99 FXDWG for about 4 years. It was mostly stock with tall apes, 95" upgrade and 44MM CV and SE manifold. I lowered it front and rear. Changed rear wheel to alum spun 16" solid wheel, PM brakes, chromed swingarm, replaced motor mounts. I purchased and had Carl's Speed Shop rebuild one of their billet typhoon carbs which is mounted on a S&S 2/16 manifold. Even with new 2" extended forward controls there is really no room for an air cleaner for full peg and brake access and the tank has to be raised to clear the carb as well. So I have a few issues. I will be nosing around the carb posts for advice.
