New, only as a Member, been following a long time
I think I have read more forum pages than I did book pages in college, finally decided it was time to get more involved. You have a lot of information on here, some great, some stretched a bit, just like real life!
I am from Washington State, yes it rains, but cleaning the bikes is good therapy.
I currently ride a 2008 Softail Custom with Factory "Rad" paint red flame paint. It has a strong stage 1 96 with a 6 spd, currently in getting a 103 BB kit, with 10.5-1 SE pistons and mild Street ported the heads. Not really sure how it will turn out, but I will keep you informed as we go. I have a dyno sheet from when I bought the bike used with 75hp and 92 tq, which I thought was fairly strong to the rear wheel. Not sure if it has cams or not, previous owner did get a quote for Andrews 37's. From reading here, Stage 1 could be there, or with 37's it could be there. When I get it back, I am sure a new world. A little worried about the compression if it has stock cams and stock starter. Hoping to ride 2015 and get cams installed next winter, thinking about Andrews 54's based on reading here. I look forward to conversing with many of you and maybe finding new places to ride. Just bought my girlfriend a 2014 Street Glide Special. She rode a metric for a year, so she is thrilled.
Thanks for reading,
Bob
