new life time for a harley!!
hello all i just bought my first harley today, a 2015 soft tail slim, she is beautiful. my wife who recently passed away always told me there is only one motorcycle and thats harley davidson!! so since im alone now, and she wont be worrying her self all day i bought one i havent taken delivery yet and i still need my endorsement but i used to have a bike and i loved riding it. so im starting my new life....not that im happy about that by the way i miss her more than i can possibly describe, but i might as well do what i want, so i did. im nervous about riding again but im looking forward to it as well, i will be 56 next month so its my early birthday present....thats me im looking forward to learning from all of you here

Wow, that is quite a story. Sorry to hear about your wife. I am 55 and haven't ridden in 30 yrs ! I took delivery today of a 2007 Dyna FXD. I had the guy drop the bike off at a local school parking lot, where I proceeded to practice driving for about an hour before I drove the 4 miles home. I got the "Ride like a Pro" DVD and used some basic techniques from it to get home safely! Good luck to you and welcome fellow newbie !
