Hi from Liverpool,England.
Hi,I've been lurking for a month or so after buying a Street Bob so thought I'd do the decent thing and introduce myself.
My name is John and I am delighted my motorcycling odyssey has brought me here. After a mostly Jap based bike journey I bought a Sportster 1200 Custom and despite it's determined efforts to spit me into the nearest field I was hooked on that fantastic V twin motor and frankly hooked on the people what ride the bikes so here I am the proud owner of an 09 SB.
What a bike, standard suspension is still verging on the murderous but I live close to Maxton Engineering who've sorted out some of my previous bikes springyness so will probably get them to do this one.
It's a flat black with gloriously loud Vance and Hines short shots that almost make me blush with their clarion suburban early morning wake up.
I took the heat shields off ready to remove the pipes and made the school-boy error of forgetting on the next ride....

Welcome to the forum from South Carolina. Very nice bike; I'm partial to Street Bobs.
Sorry about your boot, but it's an occupational hazard with the Harleys. I only wear Doc Martens; they are the one thing that unites us.
