Default HELP!!! New Breakout, What Tuner? Ugh!!!!

2015 Breakout, V&H Big Radius 2/2 on their way, SE Heavy Breather on it's way... Cams further down the road, maybe 110 kit even further down the road...
What Tuner is recommended?!?!

Of course the H-D dealership is partial to Super Tuner... but, the parts guy/ex-HD mechanic also talked about the Power Commander 5...
I've been researching the V&H FP3....

Anybody have experience with all 3 or more that can give me educated/experienced advise, comments, concerns, or warnings?
It would be greatly appreciated.

The parts guy(ex-H-D mechanic) at the dealer sounded very knowledgeable and experienced until I saw that puff of smoke come out when he said that stoichiometry at sea level is 12.4:1... I stopped him right there and said, "Hey, this is a No Smoking Zone, It's 14.7:1" and turned and walked away. Must be why they moved him from Mechanic to Parts Sales.... I bet he Blued a lot of Pipes!!

12.4:1 is fine at WOT. 14.7:1 stoich at idle and cruse is fine but getting on it 12.4 is plenty to keep the pipes from turning blue. probably would not hurt moving it down a hair if you live in a hot area like Arizona or Florida.

I'd go with the FP3 because your pipes are from V&H as well. Vance & Hines has no doubt spent a lot of time developing and tweaking the maps for their pipes. Not to mention how easy it is to install and flash. Also there's the auto tune feature.

I been looking into both pv and fp3 and both look like solid products. Dynojet seems to be a better tuner for heavier mod guys. I know both products have improved over the years but the previous fuelpaks had limited ability to tune

HD is bound by regulations as to what they can do. They have to tune for emissions, that's why SERT only.

I've been researching the V&H FP3....
V&H has been putting out upgrades to the FP3 since it came out. It continues to gain features through software updates to their app, and firmware updates to the FP3 itself.

The Lead service guy was trying to push that SERT on me. He had no idea what an FP3 was or its capabilities. Luckily I did a lot of research and insisted on going with the FP3. He was standing over my shoulder amazed @ all the features and how I could install download a map all from the my IPhone in less than 15 minutes and be ready to ride....

He said if he didn't already have a bunch of $$$ ties up in the SERT and dyno time he would switch to the FP3

I avoid the piggyback type tuners, and have the TTS Mastertune which works very well for me.

The Power Vision seems to be getting the best reviews these days.

Powervision 2, by dynojet. Fuelmoto will send it with a map for you that will be pretty good. Autotune from there. It will support any future mods, and it saves the hd stock tune of you ever need to reflash it for whatever reason. Fuelmoto will also tech support if you need it. Pretty good company there. Not sure if it's close to you but lozano brothers are in Texas. Lots of good things said of there tuning capabilities.
