I was actually looking at a 2016 Wide Glide yesterday. I have seen a few people suggest to others to start off with something not as expensive; but since I wouldn't know a decent used bike from one that is in bad shape (and I don't really know anyone who rides) I think I might be okay with buying something new.

I have also read most people who buy Sportsters usually enjoy it fine, but want a Dyna within the first year. Maybe I should skip the Sportster step, haha.
