Default New backrest..53810-00C vs 53810-00B 2008 Fatboy

Hello all-

First time poster and new Harley owner. I just bought a 2008 Fatboy and had the dealer add the detachable saddlebags, low sissybar, and touring back pad. The dealer installed the mounting hardware and the bags, but had to special order the sissybar and so it just showed up today. I put it all together and attempted to install it on my bike, but the mounting siderails were too wide in the front to work. I went through and looked at all the parts and noticed that the dealer sent the 53810-00B sideplates instead of the 53810-00C which is what shows fits my bike. I can't find anything on the 53810-00B ones and am thinking this must be why they don't fit? I need to call tomorrow and speak with dealer and see what needs to be done, but wanted to know before I called what was wrong so I could be sure they got the right stuff this time. Thanks a bunch!

OK, I had the sissy bar in the brackets backwards I think. Once i flipped it, it fit a lot closer. Its still off by like 1/4" on each side. Is there a spacer or something that can be added to the mounting pegs to space it out a little more?

Update: So it turns out the dealership put the mounting hardware on wrong. Just had to turn the first stainless spacer the other direction so that the stainless part was against the fender mount and then everything lined up. Just wanted to close the loop on this thread in case someone else has this problem in the future.
