Not sure if this is same harley-davidsonforum.com from late 90's but I used to be member there until they received cease & desist from the HD headquarter.
I'm Ken and from eastern NC. Bought a sporty from a friend then end up with some fantasy of building a Dual Sportster, which I built one. Unfortunately, 3/4 way through the build, I fractured my lumbar 5 at work and had no luck with worker's man comp lawsuit because of my primary & spine doctor vaguely not wanting to specific cause of fracture. I think they were avoiding going to the court and spine doctor claimed it was during my young age but I have MRI from accident less than 10 years ago showing no fracture in my vertebrate.
Anyway, even with pain back, I finished the build and rode it a little bit but unfortunately just too high for me and it hurts to hop onto it. I'm gonna go back to normal sporty later.
Was fun while it last and I am proud to say it was my first ever I took a bike apart to pieces and put it back together, and learned a lot in the process.
