Default Newbie in PA
Hey everybody, just picked up this gem a couple days ago. 2006 Super Glide FXDI, 13,000 miles from the original owner (co-worker). Figured I'd add an account on here for any troubleshooting issues going forward. I plan on getting an HD Service manual. Took her out over the weekend for an 80 mile run. She was very fun to ride. I've been riding strictly Yamaha's for the last 10 years or so. Started with a 1981 XS650 special, them moved on to the 1980 XS1100 Special. They were both great bikes, but I needed an upgrade. So when this deal presented itself (around $5,000) I couldn't pass it up. So far so good. I'll probably look at getting some saddle bags & maybe a bigger windshield. I never knew how good I had it with the old Vetter fairing. Can't wait to put some real miles in!
